Temporary Fundraising Coordinator

A large part of our operations is donation-funded and made possible thanks to generous companies, individuals, foundations, and funds. As one of our colleagues is going on parental leave, we are looking for a temporary fundraising coordinator for our fundraising department.

ABOUT US

You will work closely with other colleagues in our fundraising and communication team. The team is responsible for volunteers, fundraising from individuals, companies, foundations, and funds, as well as marketing, advocacy, and communication for all operations within Göteborgs Stadsmission. The team consists of specialists in communication, marketing, and sales.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a fundraising coordinator, you will administer donations from individuals and companies. You play a key role in strengthening the relationship with our important donors and help them feel the difference they make, which creates engagement and builds loyalty.

In short, our donor service is about both caring for and developing relationships with our fantastic donors, as well as structured administrative work.

Your main tasks include:

• Daily contact with our donors via phone and email.
• Recurring administrative routines in our CRM system.
• Ensuring that the donor register maintains high quality through updates, register maintenance, and statistics.
• Reconciliations with the finance department.
• Regularly sending out letters and materials to our donors.
• Supporting other team tasks during events as needed.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for a meticulous, responsible, and efficient administrator with the ability to handle tasks in a structured and organized manner. You need to be able to manage difficult conversations, such as regarding memorial gifts or when donors provide feedback. You should feel comfortable addressing sensitive topics and be able to communicate in a professional and calming manner.

• You express yourself very well in spoken and written Swedish.
• You are accustomed to administrative tasks.
• You see solutions and opportunities for improvements in administrative work.

You are interested in understanding how we can help our donors feel that they are truly contributing to our vision of a more humane society for all.

Education and Experience:

• Experience working in a coordinating role, with administration or customer service.
• Experience and/or interest in the fundraising sector.
• Vocational education, university degree in marketing, project management, customer service, and/or administration or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.
• Experience working in a CRM system is an advantage.
